Day 6. Gin – Black Shuck

It’s gin today, so who would be a better sponsor than a pub, The Hempton Bell. You’ll always find Black Shuck gin and a great pint here with hosts Jason & Becky.  Situated just outside Fakenham this friendly pub will always make you feel welcome. Here, you can try their traditional ales in the bar or lounge or relax outside overlooking Hempton Common to enjoy the peace and the beautiful Norfolk sunsets.

It’s gin day, with our covid heroes, Black Shuck. Pat & Sarah started working with gin back in 2011, and they have gone from strength to strength. Now, their range of fabulous gins is part of a portfolio of drinks including vodka, liqueurs and rum. And don’t forget the 1000’s of litres of hand sanitizer they have produced during the pandemic. The distillery is open for tasting appointments and collections and Black Shuck drinks are available from several local farm shops, and The Giddy Goat, as well as being in many Norfolk pubs, like the Hempton Bell, Walsingham Black Lion or Binham Chequers. We are really looking forward to be able to run the beer festival again and have Black Shuck’s lovely cocktails back.

Here’s a nice message from Sarah at Black Shuck.
