Day 11. Beer 2 – Wildcraft Brewery – Wild Towers Curious Pale Ale

Monday night’s sponsor is Bruce Towers & Sons. They are a family run plumbing and heating business established for 33 years specialising in both domestic and commercial plumbing, heating and gas services, and woodburners. All their engineers are fully trained to the highest standard and qualified in the areas they work in, so you can be assured that the work you have done will be to the highest quality standard. Being a family run business their clients are the most important thing to them so the service you will receive is personal and professional, they are a business which is small enough to care and big enough to cope. Based in Norfolk they cover the north Norfolk coast, Dereham, Norwich, Kings Lynn, Thetford and surrounding villages. 01328 863664

Tonight’s beer is the appropriately named Wild Towers, from Wildcraft Brewery. Complex 4.5% pale ale with Yarrow flower, which gives a floral edge with notes of ginger, spice, citrus and pine. Wild Towers was originally made for Aylsham churches Twelve Towers Festival. We were challenged to use something foraged from their churchyards so we decided on Yarrow flower. It’s been such a hit that it went from a one off special to a main stay in the foraged, seasonal offerings. All Wildcraft bottles are bottle conditioned, gluten-free and vegan friendly. You can visit the brewery at Buxton for drive-thru collections Monday to Saturday, or order online from Wildcraft. Also available at The Real Ale Shop, Beers Of Europe and The Giddy Goat. Cheers.
